RIP Bill Buchanan. There is a reason that 24 is the best show on TV. From the double episode last week that left viewers wondering who would die (the president, her daughter, Bill, Aaron, Red Foreman... ) in the terrorist siege of the White House, which turned out to be Bill, it was a non-stop wait to get to the point where I could get home from work and watch the episode (I was home about 920 last night) and was very miffed that Hulu didn't have the episode up - even at midnight!
And while there are 11 episodes to go, the promise of Jon Voight as the ultimate bad guy with his non-specific weapons of mass destruction to mess up the area around DC with his bad attitude and serious distempter towards America, definitely leaves me wanting more... just not as salivatingly as for the killer episode last time.
Now, Jack ended Jouma and his thugs pretty quickly, but alas, it looks like the makers of 24 had to give in to the Whacko Fringe of people who only see one episode of the show and judge from there at the Huffington Post since you know they're so full of credibility and all.
As for me, I'll go back to my conservative's "wet dream" of watching 24 and seeing the goody guys of the world ending the evil of terrorism and the heroism that Bauer represents any day (as compared to cheering on the sick attempt by Obama to sell his bailout and budget).
